Q:
Does this site contain violent or sexual content?
A:
Yes it does. But we ask that all members put the {VC} or {SC} tags in the subject line of the thread when they start it, or go back and edit that first post in the thread to add the tag, to warn readers of any violent or sexual content. It is up to you as readers whether or not you read the things on this site, and not the forum provider or the site admins responsibility to make sure you are mature enough to handle what you might choose to read. And when I say violent I mean like explicitly describing the gorey details of injuries in a battle, and when I say sexual I mean the explicit and sometimes crude details of sexual intercourse, not just a few minor details and a sudden fade to black.
Q:
Can my charry cast spells and do magic?
A:
Other than the abilities tied to the race itself, such as supper strength etc, actually it depends. The humans of course have their own sense of magic, just like in the real world, Voodoo, Wicca, etc. The wolves magic is the same as humans' but passed down by a specific person in the pack as part of the pack's history, so they may have knowledge of older things like Celtic spells and rituals. The vampires have 13 differing magics, each magic is tied to a specific tribe, but any magic not given by blood when they were turned and became part of that tribe, they will not be able to use.
Q:
Can my charry be a race not listed?
A:
No. If you wish to reccomend a new race be added to the list, or a new race formed by the mixing of races, you may pm Casi, but there is no promise she will choose to do so.
Q:
Can my charry be from another planet?
A:
No.Those brought to the town only come from earth.
Q:
Can my charry be a royal or someone really famous?
A:
Well it would be slightly silly for a human royal or famous person to be in this small town, but if you think you can pull it off without making yourself look like an idiot then go right ahead. As for the other races, if you want an alpha wolf or a vampire of higher rank than a lord/lady, then you need to pm Cassi first. BUt if you want to make your wolf or vamp famous, again it might be hard to explain their presence in this tiny town, but if you think you can explain it go right ahead.
Q:
So vampires and humans have been living in relative peace in this role play?
A:
Yes the vampires announced their presence to the human populace 5 years ago, and proved to the majority of the world's humans that they could peacefully co-exist with them. There are some vampire groups that do not choose to live in peace with humans. Vampires feed off of only willing humans (okay well technically this only applies to most vamps, and they don't kill the human, but there are some who will take a human victim and drain them dry), or they drink the bottled synethic blood sold much like beer in convience stores and bars across the world.
Q:
Can vampires and wolves get along?
A:
Yes it's possible, but seeing as wolves tend to be so territorial and aggressive it often isn't all that likely.
Q:
Do all the vampires living at the manor have to be of the same tribe as Lady Midnight is?
A:
No. In fact many vamps of differing tribes come together to live in this one manor as a sort of 'family' under Lady Midnight's authority.
Q:
How come humans weren't aware werewolves existed until recently?
A:
Oh but they were, humans' history is littered with tales and legends of wolves. It's simply that humans of today have such a hard time coping with the 'supernatural' that they chose not to believe in the wolves actual existence, but once the humans were forced to except and cope with the factual existence of vampires in their world, the humans are now also forced to acknowledge and cope with the very real and progressively more threatening existence of werewolves within their reality.

Can I have a board made for me, like a business or a home?
A:
Yes. Just pm an admin with your idea for another board for the site. Just remember it has to be situated on or around the town, and we'll want a board description and board name.

Can I add an NPC I'd like to use in one of my plots or threads?
A:
Yes just pm an admin with your idea for a new NPC and we'll most likely be glad to add it to the list.
Q:
Can I use one of the NPCs on the list in one of my threads or plots?
A:
Yes, NPCs are characters that everyone can play. Just remember not to deviate from the information listed about the NPC on the list.
Q:
Why did my charry get sent to the adoption center, or get adopted? And is there any way to get it back from the other person who took it?
A:
You were inactive or hadn't posted something somewhere on some board of the site within the last month or two, so your character was deemed abadoned and moved to the adoption center. If it was adopted the only way to get it back is to contact the person who adopted the charry and work out a deal with them, then have them contact an admin about switching it back into your possession.
Q:
There seems to be an awful lot of reading on this site, why would I want to join this when there's so much reading?
A:
If you don't like to read, then you probably shouldn't join this or any other written role play site. Stick to the more visual role play games and let those of us who do like reading and writing enjoy ourselves in our own little fantasy world we've created here.
Q:
What if the portrayal I want to use for my charry is already in the list?
A:
Then you can't use that one and must pick another one. In the case of two pending profiles with the same portrayal the one who originally posted their profile first gets to use it. Portrayals have to be real people, no cartoon figures, but if you don't have a name for the person you are using as a port please put the link to the site where their images can be found.

Does my charry have to die?
A:
No, not at all. Though if they do really die, as in cutting off their head, then there is no way you can bring them back from the dead. If you no longer want a charry you created and don't want to give it up for adoption you can contact an admin and let them know you want to kill off your charry, and we will come up with a plotline to help kill them off.
